Lenovo’s ultra-premium Yoga S940 is extremely thin and light, but while its name might suggest that this is a 2-in-1, it isn’t. You don’t get a touchscreen, but Lenovo has used curved-edge glass which looks stylish and modern. The keyboard is reasonably comfortable and the trackpad is quite large. There’s even a webcam above the screen. 

One great feature is that you can customise the hardware you want if you buy this laptop through Lenovo’s website. Our review unit had a Core i7-8565U processor, 16GB of RAM, a 1TB PCIe SSD, and full-HD screen. There are three USB Type-C ports and you can charge the laptop through any of them.

Performance for everyday tasks was good, but this laptop does get warm when stressed, and you can’t expect to run 3D games. Lenovo’s Vantage software claims to improve privacy and security. Battery life was also good in our tests.
